Inspection

Inspection tools include image processing, color matching, blob analysis and metrology functions. Each tool adjusts its region of interest to the location, scale, and orientation computed by the Locator making it easy to setup automated quality control for manufacturing processes.

• Color finder analyzes images to find regions that match user-defined color filters
• Image processing is optimized for MMX/SSE/SSE2 and includes arithmetic, assignment, logical, filtering, morphological, sharpness, and histogram functions
• Metrology functions include edge, line, and arc calipers for measuring relative distance and angle
• Blob analysis extracts various properties including general (area, centroid), perimeter (raw, convex), inertia (major/minor axis), bounding box (extents, angle), chain code (boundary), and topology (holes).
• All inspection tools perform bilinear interpolated sampling of rectangular inspection regions for precise measurement in calibrated units
